What is fertility reflexology?
This can be an anxious and stressful time and reflexology can be great for promoting relaxation and supporting bringing your body in to balance. Fertility reflexology can be used for both female and male. Reflexology is something to consider where there is unexplained infertility, where there seems to be no reason why pregnancy hasn't occurred, if you've already had investigations.

Pre-conception reflexology can be used if trying to conceive naturally or through IVF. I have worked with women in both situations.

Naturally trying to conceive
I have supported clients who have a long cycle which means they have longer to wait each cycle to be able to try again. In some clients they have reported that reflexology has helped to reduce length of cycle. I have also supported clients who have irregular periods and had feedback that as the cycle is more regular it has helped to pin point ovulation which in turn may help when TTC.

I also support ladies who suffer from irregular periods, painful periods and / or who are trying to conceive.
Many ladies may suffer from anxiety and stress at this time which may affect hormone levels and / or make it more difficult to conceive.

Reflexology for support during IVF.
Reflexology can also be beneficial prior and during the IVF process to help relieve the associated stress and anxiety. In this context, it about supporting your wellbeing and stress levels as your medication will be dealing with your cycle, hormone levels etc.

How often should I have fertility reflexology?
This can be discussed once you've had a consultation. In general, for someone new to reflexology who is looking to support a particular condition with reflexology ideally having the first 4-6 treatments weekly as reflexology is culminative and then move towards monthly. However, that is not always possible with time and expense and a client may come as often as they can or come monthly from the beginning.
